Case Study (web design)

After building the original site on Squarespace over 6 years ago, the successful website gets a much-needed upgrade onto the Shopify CMS with added custom functionality for personalising clothing. We also did the full photography shoot for products displayed on the website in our in-house studio.

 “DryKids” was born because our own kids loved to be outside playing, climbing and getting wet whatever the weather and location. The Regatta ranges were a good place to start and ticked our main requirement Value for money, so we set up stall and started selling these and a few other styles until we decided that what we were missing was colour!

Brief & Draft Design

We drafted up a proposal and created custom wire-frames to give an idea of the initial design.

Proto type & Testing

Once approved, we got to work on testing necessary features and creating core pages and cornerstone content.

Build & Development

We built the site using the Shopify CMS with custom development around personalising products.

The Requirements

Dry Kids reached out to us after 6 years for us to give their website a revamp and move platforms to give them greater seller power with a more modern engine.

They needed custom features such as customers being able to customise products with their own initials.

The Result

Following the brand guidelines, we ensured that the new website was capable for future growth with the functionality being only limited to that of the imagination.


The brief was to build a fun, informative and easy to navigate E-comm site for our brand Dry Kids. The Team at Ghost Design have delivered, not only in terms of design but also technical support getting the most out of the Shopify platform.
