Hallen Engineering Ltd

Hallen Engineering Ltd approached us to revitalise their online website presence & E-commerce store, they wanted something fresh that would set them apart from the competition.

Founded in 1952 based in Wednesbury, West Midlands, Hallen Engineering Ltd is a a specialist manufacturer of bespoke metallic tubular components, specialising in many types of materials, including Carbon & Stainless Steels, Aluminium and Titanium.

The Requirements

The team at Hallen wanted a website that represented them as a market leader in the metal components industry, they wanted a much easier way for customers to check out with their products without the process being so long. There was also a need to highlight the fact that they manufacture components in house to specifications which a lot of their competition don't do which gives them a clear USP.

The Result

Apart from re-designing the look, layout and feel of the website, a big part of this website build was making the user experience a more fluid one. We looked at how we could incorporate more routes to sale and maximise conversions. A big part of this was re-thinking the way users picked options for the product variations. We took a 4 step process and turned it into a 2 step process allowing the user to check out in half the time ensuring less drop off in the acquisition process.
